This Warranty Policy describes the warranty coverage provided for Products purchased from the TechHaulers online store at https://shop.techhaulers.com. CL Tech Recycling LLC ("TechHaulers") sells Products in various conditions, and warranty coverage varies accordingly.
1. Warranty by Product Condition
1.1 New Products
New Products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty, where applicable. The manufacturer's warranty terms, duration, and coverage apply. TechHaulers does not provide a separate warranty for new Products beyond what the manufacturer offers. Please retain your order confirmation as proof of purchase for manufacturer warranty claims.
Manufacturer warranty periods vary by brand and product type. Contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service, or contact us and we will assist you in filing a claim.
1.2 Refurbished Products
Refurbished Products carry a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship that were not present or disclosed at the time of purchase.
What the warranty covers:
Functional defects that prevent the Product from operating as described in the product listing.
Hardware failures not caused by user damage.
What the warranty does NOT cover:
Cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, or aesthetic imperfections (unless not disclosed in the listing).
Software issues, operating system errors, or data loss.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or improper installation.
Consumable components (e.g., batteries) with reduced capacity due to age.
Damage caused by acts of nature (power surges, water damage, etc.).
Incompatibility with third-party software, hardware, or accessories.
1.3 Used / "As-Is" Products
Used Products are sold "AS IS" without any warranty, express or implied, unless specifically noted in the product listing. We test all used Products for basic functionality before listing, but we do not guarantee future performance.
You are encouraged to review the product description and condition notes carefully before purchasing used Products.
2. How to File a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim for a Refurbished Product within the warranty period:
Contact us at info@techhaulers.com within 30 days of delivery.
Include your order number, product name, and a description of the defect.
If possible, include photos or a video demonstrating the issue.
We will respond within 2 business days with instructions for returning the Product.
3. Warranty Resolution
Once we receive and inspect the returned Product, we will:
Repair the Product if the defect is covered and repairable.
Replace the Product with the same or a comparable equivalent if repair is not feasible.
Refund the purchase price if the defect is covered and neither repair nor replacement is possible.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless we determine the defect was present at the time of sale. We will cover shipping for the replacement or repaired Product back to the customer.
4. Limitations and Exclusions
4.1 No Implied Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period applicable to the Product condition (30 days for refurbished; none for used/as-is). Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this limitation may not apply to you.
4.2 No Consequential Damages
TechHaulers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use any Product.
4.3 Statutory Rights
This Warranty Policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable state consumer protection laws. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply.
5. Battery Warranty Disclosure
Most electronic Products we sell contain rechargeable batteries (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.). Battery health and capacity vary by Product age and condition. We do not warranty battery life or capacity beyond what is described in the product listing. Batteries are considered consumable components and are excluded from warranty coverage for capacity degradation.
